Katie Turnbull began designing the KatieMosa - Tweed with a Twist™ collection over two years ago. Initially, the project was a way for Katie to take time out from her couture dressmaking business. It allowed Katie a crafty and creative release, using a much loved medium, tweed fabric.

Katie began to give her handmade products as gifts to clients, friends and family and with the use of advertising on her website and word of mouth, sales increased and Katie had soon expanded the range to include not only bags and accessories but homewares as well.

Working from her London studio, Katie is still very much in control of all of her designs and with the help of a small team, produces the Tweed with a Twist™ range by hand here in the UK. 99% of the KatieMosa - Tweed with a Twist™ tweed and materials are sourced from here in the UK.

The range is constantly expanding and evolving, designer Katie says, 'Tweed with a Twist™ is a way of making tweed accessible to everyone. You don't need to shoot or have a pile in the country in order to have a little tweed in your life! Our homeware and accessories look just as good in a flat in London as they do in a house in the country.'
